We all have a favourite beach, a go-to spot that springs to mind when the sun is shining and the ocean is calling. But with hundreds of stunning beaches to choose from, which is the best beach of them all? We asked you what is New Zealand's Most Loved Beach, and you answered over a four-week-long Facebook campaign. Out of a whopping 600,000 votes, here are the top 10 beaches:

1) Ohope Beach, Bay of Plenty (오호피 해변)

It's official - with almost 100,000 votes, Ohope Beach takes the coveted title of Most Loved Beach. Known as the seaside playground of the Eastern Bay of Plenty, it's not surprising that it garnered this many votes. With 11km of golden sand, small rolling waves and safe swimming, what's not to love!

9) St Clair Beach, Otago

There's nothing between this beautiful white-sand beach and the Antarctic. It has New Zealand's most consistent surf break and a cafe-lined promenade where you can sit and watch all the action.
