뉴질랜드 AA 카드 멤버십에 대해 (자동차 생활)

뉴질랜드에서 지내시는 동안 보통 2~ 3가지의 자동차 관련 보험을 갖고 지내시는 분들 많죠?

 

(1) 자동차 종합보험 - 대인.대물,자차.자손까지 포함하는 보험  (1년 약 $450-500 내외. 매달 분할납부 가능)

(2) 자동차 구입시 기술적 고장 보험 - 가령 엔진이 망가질 경우 등을 대비한 보험 (중고차 매매상에서 가입, 2년에 약$700-$800)

(3) 도로 비상 서비스 - 보통 AA (뉴질랜드 자동차 협회) 회원 가입으로 혜택 

       (오클랜드 $89, 타우랑가 등 기타 지역 1년 $77)

  

이중에서  AA 회원카드(1년 가입비 $77) 혜택이 무엇인지 알아보겠습니다.

 

개인용 AA Membership 은 사람 이름으로 가입하기 때문에 어느 차량에 있든 혜택을 받을 수 있다.

또한 운전중이었던, 옆에 승객으로 타고 있든 혜택을 받을 수 있다. 즉, 차량에 관한 보험이 아니라 가입자 본인을 위한 회원가입제다.  

 

AA 개인 회원은 아래 서비스를 1년간 최대 6회까지 제공받을 수 있다.

         Testing your battery  (배터리 테스트)

• Jump-starting your vehicle   (배터리가 나갔을 때 비상 점프)
• Organising a replacement battery if necessary*     (필요할 경우 자동차 배터리 교체)
• Getting access to your vehicle if you're locked out   (문을 잠갔을 경우 차량문 열어주기)
• Changing your wheel       (타이어가 펑크(flat) 되었을 때 타이어 교환 )
• Free delivery of fuel if you run out (you pay for the fuel)   (주행중 연료가 떨어졌을 때 기름 공급 서비스, 기름값 본인부담)
• Free temporary side glass replacement*   (무료 차량 옆 창문 교체)
• Organising a windscreen ship of crack repair*   (자동차 앞유리에 금가거나 깨졌을 때 배달료 부담)

     * AA 회원 가입뒤 24시간 뒤부터 위 회원 효력이 발휘됩니다.

 

  

 

추가로 $45을 더 지불하면 AA 플러스 회원 혜택이 가능합니다. (총 1년 $122)

 For only $45 extra a year, AA Plus gives you:

• Free towing (무료 견인 서비스)
  We'll get your disabled vehicle (plus any boat, caravan or trailer you were towing) home or to the nearest repairer.
  
• Emergency rental car or accommodation 
• 집에서 100Km 이상 떨어졌을 경우, 또는 고장수리에 하루 이상이 걸릴 경우  임시 렌트카 및 숙소 제공
• 렌트카와 숙소를 포함해서 1일 최대 혜택 $120까지   
  We'll get you a rental car and / or a place to stay for up to three days if you're more than 100km from home and the repairs will take more than a day. (Combined value of vehicle rental and accommodation are to a maximum of $120 per day.)
  
• Help getting home (집에서 100Km 이상 떨어져 고장이 발생했고, 고장 수리가 당일 되지 않을 경우 버스나 기차 등 귀가 교통편 알선)  
  If you've broken down more than 100km from home and the repairs can't be done on the same day, we can arrange a ride home via bus or train for you.
   
• Lost keys  (자동차 열쇠가 분실 되어 열쇠 수리공의 도움을 받을 경우 $150 지원)
  Keys get lost, it happens. If you need help from a locksmith, AA Plus will contribute $150 towards the labour costs.
  
• Help with a shattered windscreen
• (차량 앞 창문이 완파되어 운전이 불가능할 경우 구조 요원 파견. 유리 교체 수리비는 본인 부담)
  If your windscreen shatters while you're on the road we can usually arrange someone to come to you if the vehicle can't be driven, you'll need to pay for the repair though.
  
• Medical assistance  (의료진 파견)
  We have access to medical staff who are here to help and offer advice. We can also refer you to a local doctor, dentist, chemist or hospital and arrange transfer of your medical records in case something happens far from home.
  
• Updating family and friends  (주위 친구나 가족들에게 연락해주기)
  If for any reason you're unable to let your family and friends know what's happening, we'll get in touch with them for you and keep them informed.

Each AA Plus claim is to a maximum of $800 (incl GST ) with an overall maximum annual subscription claim of $1500 (incl GST). * 개별 사건에 대한 AA 플러스 보상 최대액은 $800 (세금포함)이고, 연간 최대 보상액은 $1500(세금포함)을 넘지 않는다.
