1. 카터스 "Gone Fishing" - 어린이, 가족 낚시 대회 (Blue Light Carters Kids Gone Fishing Day)

 일시: 11월 8일 토요일 오후 1시30분부터 4시까지

 장소: 타우랑가 브리지 마리나

 TV에서 보는 뉴질랜드 카터스 Gone Fishing 시리즈 호스트 그래엄 싱클래어도 만날 수 있는 기회.

 무료 소시지 시즐과 음료수 제공됨, 어린이와 동반하는 가족 단위 낚시 대회

 당일 입장 및 등록 가능

A fun-filled day of fishing for you and your kids. Bring the whole family. Free sausage sizzle and drinks, and meet Carters fishing guru Graeme Sinclair Heaps of spot prizes. Registration forms available from Carters Tauranga and Mt Maunganui, or the Durham Street Police Station. 2. 타우랑가 시내 도로 카트 경주 대회 (Tauranga 2008 Kart Street Race)
The Tauranga Kart Street Race is the only kart street race in New Zealand – a huge drawcard  for drivers, supporters and spectators alike. The fast 1.2 km circuit runs is near the city end of Cameron Road. Adults $10, family pass $25, and under 5’s are free. Sunday 9 November.

 

3. 타우랑가 가든 & 예술 축제 (Garden & Artfest )
Gardens from tiny urban oases, to rambling country gardens, provide the perfect backdrop for the work of local artists. This year the Garden Trail features 115 gardens and ‘artstops’ from Katikati to Te Puke. The Bayleys Garden and Artfest begins on 10 November and runs to November 16th. Major events include the Wearable Flower Show by floral fabric artist, Jenny Gillies, in Bethlehem Town Centre on Fri 14 & Sat 15 Nov. 4. Jimeoin on Ice
Jimeoin (don’t ask how to pronounce it) is described as everyone’s favourite Irish-Australian comedian who sets a wicked self-deprecatory tone with precise detail. His routines are sustained solely by the most subtle of facial ｅxpressions as he explains the fine line between looking cunning or appearing sleazy. ‘He extends to some nonchalant physical comedy, tottering around the stage like a chicken crossing a minefield or extolling the virtues of a top – rather than front-loading washing machine.’On at Baycourt Theatre, Friday, 14 November, 8 pm. Adults $34. 

 

5. Swingin’ Jazz  (11월 22일, 저녁 8시, 입장료 $23)
A high-energy show with all of those songs that we all know and love, from Frank Sinatra and Ella Fitzgerald, to Michael Buble'. The auditorium resembles a 40’s jazz club, with waited tables, glitzy costumes, high energy dance and a variety of jazz singers. on Saturday, 22 November, at 8 pm, Westside Theatre, 17th Ave. General admission $23. 6. 타우랑가 모아나 해산물 축제 (Tauranga Moana Seafood Festival )

 올해 처음 열리는 마오리 해산물 축제. 시내 다이브크레센트 인근

Celebrate first class kaimoana (seafood)! Organisers of the inaugural festival say ‘bring along your love of seafood, NZ culture and creativity.’ All dishes are $5 with the exception of whitebait fritters and crayfish. Also on the menu...seafood kebabs, paua fritters, salmon kebabs, mussels, cockles, wild pork, venison, oysters, rewana bread, fish n' chips, coconut fish...Live entertainment includes Kanikani Fire dancers and Sharmin. on in Dive Crescent, Saturday 29 November, 5.30 pm to 10.30 pm. 7. 깡통맨 철인 3종경기 (Tinman Triathlon )
One of the country’s longest running most prestigious...and Tinman Triathlon is a terrific event for spectators. Individuals and teams compete – swim, cycle, and run - over sprint and standard distances. The Tinman is the ideal lead-in event for athletes competing in the Port of Tauranga Half Ironman.
