NCEA 평가 방법과 자녀 성적표 보기

NCEA 평가 방법= NCEA는 학생 개개인의 선택 과목에 대한 외부 시험성적, 내신 성적, 개별적 연구활동(과제물)에 따라 평가를 한다.

 

학부모들이 자녀들의 성적표를 이해하기 위해서는 다음의 개념을 인지해야 한다.

우선 Standard와 Credit이다. 

Standard에는 unit standard와 achievement standard가 있다.

Achievement standard에서는 not-achieved(미달성), achieved(달성), merit(우수), excellence(탁월)  4단계 등급으로 나누어서 평가가 되며 석차가 없다.

Unit standards는 달성(achieved), 미달성(not-achieved)로만 나눠서 평가한다.

각 학년별 선택 과목을 선정할 때 이부분에 신경써야 된다.

  

한편 각각의 평가항목은 서로 다른 개수의 credit으로 구성 되어 있다. Credit은 자격증에 대한 포인트와 같은 개념인데, 국가 자격증을 따기 위해서는 일정한 숫자의 credit을 획득하여야 한다.

NCEA도 각 레벨마다 요구하는 credit이 있다.
