뉴질랜드 학교들의 해외 유학생 학비 환불 규정 (샘플)

뉴질랜드 학교에서 해외 유학생으로 학교에 등록, 학비를 납입한 뒤 혹 여러 갑작스런 문제로

학교- 학부모님간의 계약을 파기해야 될 경우 학비 환불 규정을 모아보겠습니다.

 

각 학교마다, 사립과 공립에 따라 약간씩 차이는 있지만

뉴질랜드 교육부에서 정해진 유학생 학비 환불 규정은 거의 비슷합니다.

 

먼저 타우랑가의 아콰이나스 칼리지(사립, 카톨릭)의 유학생 학비 관련 조건입니다.

 

Important Information to note:

1. The full year’s fee is to be paid before the school year commences.  (학교 입학전에 학비 전액 납부해야)

2. Fees paid from within New Zealand are to be paid directly to the school so that a receipt can be provided immediately. If payment is being made by telegraphic transfer from outside New Zealand, the fees may be deposited directly into the
College’s bank account:   (학교로 학비를 송금하신 뒤에 영수증을 받습니다)

 

3. If a student withdraws from an offered place prior to commencing the course, a $NZ300 registration and handling fee will be retained and all other fees are refunded. (만약 학교 시작 전에 입학허가서를 철회할 경우 $300 등록비와 예치금, 행정비를 제외한 나머지 학비는 환불이 됩니다)

4. If a student withdraws from a course in their first year of study, there will be no refund of fees unless there are exceptional circumstances, as deemed by the Principal of Aquinas College.

 ( 입학 첫해 수업 도중에 학업을 취소할 경우 나머지 학비 환불은 불가합니다. 학교 교장이 승인하는 특별한 경우에만 학비 환불이 가능할 수 있습니다)

5. If a student withdraws during a course of study, other than in their first year, a term’s notification must be given of their intention to do so.  (만약 학생이 입학 첫 해가 아닌 이듬해부터  학업 도중 학비 환불을 요청할 경우 반드시 한 학기 전에 이 사실을 학교측에 서면으로 제출해야 학비 환불이 가능해집니다.)

6. Withdrawing or transferring to another school without notification, will incur an additional penalty of $1000 (to cover staffing allocated to help the student).

 (만약 특별한 사전 고지 없이 학업 취소 또는 다른 학교로 전학을 할 경우 학교에서 추가로 벌금 $1000 을 요구할 수 있습니다)

7. Failure to give a term’s notification of withdrawal means that the next term’s fees will be forfeited. The right to waive this requirement is at the sole discretion of the Principal of Aquinas College.
  (만약 한 학기 이전에 학업 취소를 고지하지 않을 경우 바로 그 다음 학기의 학비는 환불 금액에서 제외된다는 것을 의미합니다.)

 

8. If the College terminates a student’s tuition in the situation where the student has been asked to leave the school because of bad behaviour or poor attendance, then the next term’s fees will be retained. Any remaining amount will be refunded excluding the cost of items provided and already paid on behalf of the student.

 (만약 학교에서 나쁜 태도와 출석율 저조 등으로 퇴학을 맞을 경우  바로 다음 학기의 학비는 환불 제외되며, 그 나머지 학기 학비 중에서도 이미 학생을 위해 지출된 비용은 환불 금액에서 제외됩니다)

9. No refunds will be made if there is a change to the residential status of the student. on the completion of the year in which permanent residence is gained the student, if not a Catholic, must reapply for a place.
 (만약 해외 유학생 신분에서 영주권자로 비자상 변화가 학기 중에 발생한다고 해도 해당 학년에 납입된 학비는 환불되지 않습니다. 또한 그 해가 지난 뒤에 다시 학교에 입학을 하기 위해서는 - 카톨릭 가족이 아니라면 - 다시 입학 신청을 해야 됩니다)

 

10. All unused Homestay Fees will be refunded if the Homestay has been given two weeks notice that the student is leaving. If the student does not give two weeks notice, then two weeks Homestay Fees will be deducted from any refund. The Homestay Placement Fee will not be refunded.
 (학기 중 사용되지 않은 홈스테이 비용은 2주전에 미리 하숙집에 나간다는 고지를 했을 경우에 환불이 가능합니다.

 만약 학생이 2주 고지를 주지 않을 경우 2주간의 홈스테이 비용은 환불되지 않고, 홈스테이 주인께 지불이 됩니다.

 처음 홈스테이 가정을 찾기 위해 학교측에 지불한 홈스테이 알선비(보통 $220내외)는 환불되지 않습니다.   

 

11. All applications for a refund must be in writing to the Principal. They must include a letter from the student’s family or agent explaining the special reasons, with a medical certificate to verify any serious illness.
 (모든 환불 요청은 서면으로 학교장에 해야 됩니다. 그 서면 요청서엔 학생 가족, 또는 에이전트가 학업 취소를 하게 된 경위와 특별한 이유, 또는 질병으로 인한 경우 병원 진단서를 첨부해야 됩니다)

 

12. Students will have their Offer of Place reviewed at the end of each year. Students offered a place for the following year will be asked to confirm their place by payment of the following year’s tuition fees. This is to be paid by the end of
November. 

 (유학생들의 입학 허가는 매년말 심사 대상이 됩니다. 만약 다음해 등록을 위해 학교에서 허가서를 받은 경우 학비를 납입하는 것으로 입학을 확정하게 됩니다.  익년 학비 납입은 보통 11월말까지 납부해야 됩니다. )
