The Mount Maunganui Beachside Holiday Park has a prime site on the slopes of the Mount. It is usually a hive of activity as the motor camp shares an entrance with the Mount Maunganui Hot Salt Water Pools.
There is extensive camping with 264 power sites and a choice of either ocean or inner harbour beach locations. Almost all the sites have wonderful views and are on level terraces. There are three kitchens with cool boxes for hire and plenty of ablution facilities including a bath. The laundry has automatic equipment, and a dump station is provided.
This camp is adjacent to new shops and licensed restaurants plus a boat ramp. Please do not bring your pets.
Minimum site charge: $24 off peak.
Unique setting in the beautiful Bay of Plenty on both ocean and harbour beaches. Spend your days lazing on the magnificent beach, or enjoy the many water activities that Pilot Bay has to offer. A holiday at the Mount would not be complete without taking a leisurely walk around the mountain (the famous "Mauao") or alternatively, take in the breathtaking views of the Bay from the summit. If it is shopping you want, the Mount Maunganui shops are just a short stroll away or alternatively check out the Bayfair Shopping Mall or the many shops on offer in Tauranga.
End your day by relaxing in the famous hot salt water pools or be spoilt for choice with the many cafes and restaurants at the Mount. Popular family park. Ideal for schools/groups.
