뉴질랜드 마타마타에서 촬영될 피터 잭슨 새영화 'The Hobbit' 소식

 

 

 

 

영화 '반지의 제왕'에서 간달프역으로 열연했던 영국 배우 이안 맥컬런경이 뉴질랜드를 다시 방문한다.

그는 자신의 웹사이트에서 피터 잭슨 감독이 제작 예정인 "The Hobbit' 에 다시 출연할 것이라고 밝혔다.

"The Hobbit' 는 뉴질랜드 타우랑가 인근 마타마타에서 약 370일간, 2부작으로 촬영될 예정이다.

 

맥컬런경은 뉴질랜드 방문 중 6월30일부터 웰링턴  세인트 제임스 극장에서 공연되는 '고도를 기다리며'에도 모습을 보인다.

타우랑가에서 40분 거리니 이 영화 촬영할 때 한번 가보고 싶어지네요.....

'Lord of the Rings' star Sir Ian McKellen is expected to return to New Zealand in June.

The British actor, who played Gandalf in Peter Jackson's trilogy, is heading back to film 'The Hobbit' in the Waikato.

The full cast for the movie, which will be executive produced by Jackson and directed by Guillermo del Toro, has not yet been revealed.

But McKellen says on his website that he'll be reprising his role as the powerful wizard and expects shooting to begin in a few months' time.

Del Toro will be refurbishing the detailed sets created in Matamata for the new movie,

which is expected to be shot over 370 days and released in two parts, according to the Waikato Times.

While in New Zealand McKellen will be appearing at the St James Theatre in Wellington in 'Waiting for Godot' from June 30.
