4월 10일 일요일  

What: Tauranga for Christchurch Band Together Fun Day. (메모리얼파크 축제)
Where: Memorial Park, Tauranga.
Time: 11am-5pm.
Cost: Free entry.

 

This Sunday Memorial Park will be bustling with activity to celebrate the beginning of the Ten Days in Tauranga campaign. The day is an opportunity for Western Bay families to band together in support for those in need. What: Tauranga Ulysses Motorcycle Club annual Easter Egg and Toy Run.
Where: Riding from Nikau Crescent to the hospital.
When: Sunday.
Time: 10am onward.
Cost: Free

Feel the vibrations rumble beneath your feet as mare than 500 motorbikes roar through Western Bay streets this Sunday to spread Easter cheer. Tauranga Ulysses Motorcycle club is hosting its 21st run to raise money and awareness for the TrustPower TECT rescue helicopter.

What: Arataki market.
Where: St Mary's Church carpark - opposite Baywave, Girven Rd, Bayfair.
Time: 9am-midday.
Craft stalls, plants, fresh seasonal produce and more. Eftpos on site. New stallholders welcome, phone Claire Peake on 575 3238.

What: Christchurch fundraiser Pyjama Party at Chipmunks.

Where: Chipmunks playland and cafe, Chapel St.
Time: 6 - 8pm.
Hosted by Tauriko Playcentre. Raising money for Christchurch's Heathcote Valley Playcentre.
Entry $12 child, $2 parent, children under 5 must be supervised.

There will be storytelling as well as games, activities and supper. Prize for best dressed. Bring slippers, dressing gown, pyjamas and teddy bear. Tickets can be purchased from Tauriko School office, Kaimai School office, or from Kaye Barnett on 543 2369.

What: Baypark Speedway season finale (자동차경주장, 폐차시키기 경주!)
Where: Baypark Speedway.
Time: Gates open 5pm, first race 6.30pm.

The final night of the 2010/2011 speedway season will include the final races of the La-Z-boy Saloon Series, the Bay of Plenty Championships for Sprint Cars, Stock Cars, Super Saloons and Mini Stocks, the Metal Man Recyclers Demolition Ramp Derby and another special and spectacular fireworks display.

Where: Holy Trinity Church.
Time: 7.30-10pm.
For the first time in Tauranga, two iconic 1960s British Pop Groups will be singing all the old favourites, including You'll Never Walk Alone, I Like It, Ferry Cross the Mersey, and There's A Kind Of Hush. With special guest Herman's Hermits. Tickets available from Baycourt TicketDirect.

What: Trustpower TECT rescue helicopter open day.  (구조 헬기 구경하는 날!)
Where: Ian Pain Memorial Hangar, Tauranga Hospital.
Time: 10am-2pm.

Experience the valuable work undertaken by crews of St John Ambulance, NZ Police, NZ Fire Service, Search & Rescue, Coastguard and Civil Defence. Pick up some giveaways from our sponsors, get your face painted and enjoy a barbecue. You could win a flight in the rescue helicopter. All money raised is for the operational benefit of the TrustPower TECT Rescue Helicopter.

Rocket Day.  (플라스틱 로케트 만들기 시범 및 대회)
Where: Gordon Spratt Reserve.
Time: 10am-3pm.
Join in the fun of water-powered plastic bottles. Open to all. Bring along a 1.5L soft drink bottle and challenge the Papamoa Scouts. on display Hobbie Hot Air Balloons, and engine-powered rockets.

What: Car Boot Sale.
Where: Tauranga Adventist School.  (베들레햄)
Time: 1pm onward.

Sell your goods and pick up a bargain at Tauranga Adventist School Car Boot Sale, 19 Moffat Rd, Bethlehem.

If selling, be there at 12.30 to set up. $10 per car or stall. No need to register just turn up on the day. Money raised will go toward new picnic tables for the senior school.
